Role Overview: A Sustainability Specialist/Project Manager is needed to support Material Handling Equipment (MHE) decarbonization initiatives, focusing on Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions.
Scope: Data & Baselining
Enablement for both Scope-3 (Embodied Carbon) and Scope-2 (Energy
Efficiency/Power Monitoring Pilot Coordination efforts)
Key Responsibilities
Scope
3 - MHE Embodied Carbon Data Baselining
Manage
comprehensive data collection and standardization processes for Material
Handling Equipment (MHE) carbon footprint analysis
Coordinate
with Muir AI and MHE vendors to process equipment Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Transform
complex equipment manifests into structured data formats for carbon footprint
calculations
Lead
validation processes with vendors to ensure accuracy of component weights and
measurements
Develop
detailed carbon assessment reports and analytics
Create
and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for systematic carbon
data collection across all target facilities
Scope
2 - MHE Energy Analytics & Power Monitoring Pilot Program Coordination
Stay
on top of the implementation efforts of power monitoring solutions across four
pilot sites in Q4 2025 (Work with an internal POC)
Drive
collaboration between cross-functional teams for successful data collection
Define
and document technical requirements for data integration – Work with Data
Engineering team (Internal)
