search of an experienced System Architect/Active Directory Specialist who
can manage active directory environment, Microsoft office 365 and can provide
firewall solution

Job Title: System Architect/Active
Directory Specialist
Location: Frankfort, KY
Duration: Long-Term Indefinite
Status:
Onsite
MUST HAVE skills (Few
bullet points highlighting the must have’s):
- Develop strategies
to improve the security posture for KDE and our 171 districts.
- Perform firewall
management and monitoring, including rule set configuration and validation
for KDE and all KY K-12 school districts.
- Provide operational
support and management of the KY K-12 Enterprise Active Directory
environment, in cooperation with Microsoft.
- Management of
enterprise remote access solution for all KY K-12 users.
- Serve as a project
resource for major directory and security initiatives KY K-12 school
districts.
- Manage and support
the provisioning system from an on-premises AD forest to multiple
Microsoft Azure AD tenants via Azure AD Connect and Google Workspace for
Education.
- Management of
statewide DNS infrastructure (both Windows-based and Linux-based).
Lead and/or assist in technical presentations to KY
K-12 school district customers
