Position Summary:

 

This role actively participates as a systems data analyst, supporting critical production configuration, data validation, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to improve data quality. The successful candidate will have the desire and ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a results-oriented, fast-paced dynamic environment. A candidate with the ability to recommend solutions by evaluating alternatives is favored!

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Efficiently track, investigate and manage a workload of 20+ tickets.

  • Analyze data issues using readily available reports as well as build custom data queries to identify the pattern and work directly with the Engineering come to a resolution.

  • Develop ad-hoc queries and reports on demand with short turnaround times as determined by business priorities.

  • Provide support to troubleshoot data issues.

  • Interface directly with end-users/members to help with their data sync, setup and maintenance.

  • Perform data audits on a frequent basis and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and makes recommendations.

  • Proactively initiate and contribute in system improvements and innovations.

  • Work effectively with management and members to clarify needs, and priorities.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. 

Educational and Skill Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM majors.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

  • 3+ years of SQL experience including troubleshooting/production support experience.

  • 2+ years of Analytical experience, preferably analysis of huge data to identify patterns.

  • 2+ years of Systems / Data Analyst experience working with various business stakeholders for projects or support efforts.

  • 1+ years of external facing experience, working with external customers to address their concerns.

  • Experience working in small teams with a good mix of autonomy and accountability.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams across regions.
