Systems Engineer IV – Next-Generation Satellite Connectivity

Based in Redmond, WA, you’ll work hands-on to develop, test, and optimize both software and hardware systems that drive satellite manufacturing and deployment success.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming and scripting skills, with a preference for Python.
- Proven experience automating, deploying, and supporting manufacturing test infrastructure.
- Background in hardware/software integration for manufacturing and validation testing.
- Experience developing and maintaining software on Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in prototype or production environments.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams as a technical lead or coach.
- Proficiency in additional programming languages beyond Python.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to drive alignment across cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4–5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Software Engineer in a manufacturing, aerospace, or satellite systems environment.
