The Technical Program manager will work with the Digital team at the Digital Labs in MA and is a key role in the overall success of our IoT initiatives. The Technical Program manager will partner with engineering teams to deliver features to achieve our overall business and IoT platform goals. The Technical Program Manager will work with business and project stakeholders to track on time and quality deliverables.  The Technical Program Manager will interact with business stakeholders and customers as necessary to capture requirements and work closely with engineering to create a cost-effective solution. The Technical Program Manager will collaborate & coordinate across all internal and external engineering team & vendors to successfully execute IoT deliverables.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Technical Program Manager, you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design innovative IOT solutions. In this role, you will:
 

  • Lead cross functional development on new technology from design through delivery
  • Work with remote teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
  • Communicate regularly with management on status, risks and change control
  • Manage project costs
  • Create technical specifications and diagrams such as data flow diagrams, end to end diagrams
  • Work with teams to define hardware and software specifications with long term cost implications in mind
  • Coordinate, track and deliver technical initiatives

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with computer science or electrical and electronics engineering
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in technical program/project management in large scale software initiatives
  • 7+ years of experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets
  • 7+ years of experience analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a dynamic environment
  • Strong sense of urgency, accountability and highly objective oriented
  • Highly organized and efficient in approaching tasks, a self-starter with ability to problem solve proactively
  • Impeccable organization and efficiency skills; strong attention to detail
  • Clear, concise and articulate communication skills - verbal, written and listening
  • Interfaces with wide array of individuals, balances multiple tasks and maintains positive attitude and energy
  • Strong team player, work ethic and commitment to win right
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to think big, act small and scale fast

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or advance technical degree
  • Creative leader with superior analytical abilities
  • Product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project
  • Knowledge of hardware development process and life cycle
