Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of UX Design experience
  • A strong digital portfolio of User Experience, User Research and Visual Design
  • Experience with Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Arts, User Experience, or Cognitive Psychology or equivalent field
  • Mastery using design tools such as Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficiency in prototyping with tools such as InVision and Figma
  • Experience with ecommerce and social platforms in the beauty or luxury industry (plus)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, collaborating on Jira, Confluence and Abstract (plus)


Job Description

  • The Senior UX Designer will collaborate on the Global Product team with other designers, product managers and developers, navigating between Brand Experience and Ecommerce to design omni-channel experiences (online and in stores) and the purchase funnel (pre-purchase, purchase, post-purchase). They will work as part of the Global UX team of researchers and designers, with a specific focus on interaction design, ensuring micro-interactions throughout the customer experience are well-tested, seamless, and intuitive.
  • Our team works in a fast-paced multicultural environment with people who are passionate about our customers, brands, and best practices. As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll be responsible for leading design of new site features, new site rollouts, component libraries, research and user tests.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead product UX design from concept to launch for account and checkout, creating best-in-class user-centered wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes based on research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability studies
  • Define user experience goals and design principles
  • Design the architecture of the functions and information of the experience
  • Brainstorm with the Product team to translate data and business requirements into user scenarios and high-level customer experience requirements
  • Support and plan for variation of user contexts (e.g. culture, environment, and activity)
  • Apply knowledge of psychological and physical attributes of humans to design intuitive solutions for millions of consumers globally 
  • Design mobile-first responsive user experience and customer flow
  • Experience working with research, testing and data/KPI to drive decision making
  • Conduct user research and usability testing, validating design decisions through quantitative and qualitative data
  • Collaborate with other UX/UI Designers and UX Researchers across multiple countries to ensure a consistent global experience on all customer touchpoints and throughout our brands
  • Collaborate with front-engineers and back-end engineers to take designs to production
  • Create and maintain detailed presentations, documentations, components library, and projects’ specifications
  • Present design work to the design team, product team, and brands for review and feedback, rapidly iterating through design solutions
  • Stay on top of industry trends and emerging technologies
