Position
Summary:
The
Strategic Product Engineering Team supports RTP, Secure Token, and other new
products. This position is for a Vice President to lead in house development
for Strategic Products.
The
successful candidate will be responsible for development and support of all
internally developed applications supporting real-time payments and
tokenization services. A key aspect of the role will be to support the
migration to Cloud based computing.
Qualifications
required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field
of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other
related field
- 5+ years related IT experience in analysis, design,
development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems
in Java, Spring, J2EE App servers on Red Hat Linux, UNIX or AIX
- Experience managing agile development projects
- Experience with complex, mission critical system design
and evaluating and proposing alternative software designs
- Thorough knowledge of and experience in secure
development practices
- Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development
methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks and
projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively
with other staff within the organization
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and self-starter.
Qualifications
desired:
- Experience in wholesale or retail banking technology,
especially money transfer (e.g. ISO20022, Faster Payments, SWIFT, Fedwire,
RTGS, etc.) would be helpful
- Experience with IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ or DB2 is a plus
- Knowledgeable in Software Reliability Engineering, test
automation and CI/CD processes and tools such as GitHub, Maven, Jenkins,
Sonar Cube, Fortify, etc.
- Experience developing or migrating applications to
Cloud Environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Experience developing applications in Erlang or other
functional programming languages such as Haskell, Scala, etc. is a strong
plus
