Will embrace the latest on and off-field technology, providing live game coverage, content and real-time engagement across multiple platforms, giving fans greater access than ever before. We will build strong grassroots relationships with local organizations in our Host Cities through social responsibility partnerships.
Reporting to the SVP Product & Technology, this role will be responsible for selecting, implementing and maintaining technology solutions for football administration and operations supporting the league. From player management to ticketing systems, this role will play a critical role for standing up process and technology, enabling reporting and data analysis for both teams and corporate.
This role will be responsible for the company's football systems which support football operations (players, coaches), corporate operations, external partners and of course, fan experience. This role will optimize the use of thecompany's enterprise systems as well as introduce new systems to direct support the needs of the league.
Prioritize administration functions (player lifecycle, on-field support, integrity) in support of football operations for league launch
Determine the appropriate business architecture, processes and technology to support football & business operations
Select and manage external technology partners throughout all stages of implementation and ongoing operations
Analyze industry trends, competitive landscape, internal performance and external resources to help shape operations
Partner with Head of Football Operations and senior corporate stakeholders to establish, implement and train users on new technology and workflows, including but not limited to:
Training film strategy
Biometric data strategy and partners
Roster management tools
Sideline video and coaching tools, game logging
Athlete performance and wearable technology
Game day systems and support
Minimum of 10 years in an operational management role with experience in defining business architecture and standing up technology solutions from scratch
Strong vendor management experience with track record of implementing critical systems on time, from defining RFPs though test and handoff
Strong aptitude for efficient business architecture and seamless workflow design
Consultative approach to addressing business needs with strong analysis, requirements definition and project management experience
Ability to work at different levels of detail to adequately prioritize activities and understand linkage and dependencies across the organization
Understands how sports leagues work to determine optimal workflows and processes
Sports league administration or operational experience is a must; direct football administration and operations experience is a plus
Superb communication skills, self-awareness and ability to influence
Experience working in a cross matrix, start-up environment
Experience in positions requiring strong stakeholder engagement, and regular presentations to executive business leaders
