Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field plus 5+ years of relevant controls experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience with industrial controls within critical environments such as data centers, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar sectors.
- 4+ years of experience in general project or vendor management, including request for proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, and documentation tracking.
- Proven ability to support commissioning activities, troubleshoot control sequences, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage stakeholder expectations and multiple project deliverables.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, and maintaining HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems.
- Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MQTT, BACnet, and MODBUS.
- Familiarity with interpreting and developing engineering documentation, electrical/mechanical diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Experience in data center design or MEP infrastructure development.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls/Automation Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Other Requirements
- Local travel to operational data centers for site supervision, troubleshooting, and customer interaction.
- Ability to meet on-site compliance and safety standards as required by project scope
