Summary:
- Job
function is easily learned but requires a good base in Microsoft Office
Suite.
- Diverse
job functionally, office and off-site workings.
- Administer
member supermarket stores a Perishable retail scale labeling process.
- Provide
retail coordination for all Perishable departments with a standardized
numbering system, providing item identification and all purchase detail
across member stores.
- Works
in conjunction with the IT department and scale providers to assist with
all scale management requirements.
Job Description:
- Implements
Scale Management and related software to all stores
- Create
Scale Management merge files for loading to Stores’ database
- Create
Departmental Scale Look Up Code books for Store Personnel
- Assist
Stores, IT Field Team & Help Desk with Scale Management related needs
- Forward
thinking on all system and process improvements
- Test
and execute any new process improvements and software upgrades
- Communicate
effectively and professionally
- Become
proficient in Scale Management Software, learn, and understand SAP, as it
relates to Scale
- Management
and Perishable Products
- Train
store personnel on Scale Management Software
- Support
vendor techs during onsite service calls and installations
- Assist
Perishable Departments with SLUs and UPCs for new item creation
- Maintain
and align Perishable Master Files with Scale Management Database
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s
Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Spanish
Speaking is a Plus
Skills & Experience
- Microsoft
Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Basic
understanding of Perishable functions
- Basic understanding of Taxability & Labeling Laws in reference to Perishable
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $75 K to $80 K per year as base. Employee benefits will also be available, and details are available like Pension/401K/ Paid Vacation/ Life, Medical & Dental insurance etc.
